Our local installer Mike did a fantastic job in preparing the ground and laying the mats he then followed up with multiple visits to make sure that the lawn is growing all okay and answered all my queries and question.

I purchased and installed myself but trialed two areas. On the rear I used this product and on the front I tried to grow in the normal peasant seeding fashion. My back lawn is so lush and attractive I think my spouse is becoming jealous and suspicious of of the relationship I have with it. The front lawn is a shameful embarassment to the neighbourhood even though I have now put far more effort into it than the woolgro area. Do yourself a favour and get it.

New lawn installation process

For your new lawn installation, one of our licensed installers will visit you to measure your site and provide a quote for your grass seed mat.

On acceptance of the quote, your Woolgro installer will:

Prepare the site including weed removal, soil preparation and contouring
Cut and lay the Woolgro lawn mat
Carry out professional aftercare including watering and weed control

Our guarantee for the total lawn care package

If your lawn is prepared and laid by a Woolgro installer, is properly irrigated, and you keep people and animals off it until it has established, we guarantee it will grow. In the first five to six weeks we will regularly check your lawn, and when we are happy with the results, we will hand the care of your lawn over to you with our aftercare instructions.

This guarantee only applies to professional installation by one of our installers.

Caring for your new lawn

After the initial laying of our Woolgro lawn mat, your new lawn will need some tender aftercare to ensure that it grows well and produces lush green grass.

We can work out an aftercare plan for you to help ensure
that your growing grass gets the best start including regular watering for two to three weeks until the grass is established and when the first mowing takes place once the grass is approximately 8cm with a mower with blades set to the highest level.
